Rein is together with Moshé Zwarts founder of the office somewhere before 1990. He now leads the office together with, Rob Torsing, Reinald Top, Ralph Kieft, Erik Smits and Kay Oosterman.
He is an architect of the curious, investigative kind. He prefers to approach architectural challenges and questions with the attitude of an inventor. In that he finds his inspiration in technical innovation, conversations with as many different kinds of people as possible, and experimenting with materials. By giving lectures and joining seminars and symposia he loves to share and test his ideas.
